Our varied and creative program for N2 focuses on practical experiences so your children can learn at their own pace.
Essential learning areas for our program are speaking and listening, graphics and mathematics, creative development, social and physical and discover the world. All courses and activities are taught both by a French teacher and a native English (or Chinese language teacher) to allow your child to develop naturally in a bilingual environment.
Above all, our program for early childhood aims to arouse the excitement of learning that coming to school every day becomes something your child is waiting for impatiently.
French
The main objective of N2 is acquiring a rich oral language, organized and understandable by others. In kindergarten, the child builds relationships with other children and with adults. He exercises his motor skills, sensory, emotional, relational and intellectual; he is becoming a student. He discovers the world of writing, mathematics and logic. The French program incorporates to live game situations, research, or guided productions, exercises, rich and varied, that enrich the formation of their personality and cultural awakening.
English
Our English program for N2 is based on the Singapore National Education Program (MOE). It is specially crafted by our Singaporean teaching team. It includes "speech and drama, phonics, math and logic, arts and crafts, music and singing, sports and cooking."
Introduction to Chinese (optional)
Our courses are based on Chinese programs of international kindergartens. They include an introduction to pinyin through several topics related to Chinese culture. The focus is on counting and logic and learning traditional Chinese songs and stories for children.
Singing and Music
We stimulate the children’s interest towards music through theatrical plays, musical instruments and dancing. Our singing session is accompanied by the sound of the piano and led by teachers of French and English. Learn both languages cheerfully and naturally through music allows your child to develop his interest in singing and self-confidence.
Visual Arts
A variety of activities will be organized according to each subject studied. The objective of these workshops is to stimulate creativity and tactile and visual memory capacities of the child through an introduction to drawing, painting and other crafts for it to recognize a variety of colors and various materials.
Reading
Students learn the French language through the variety of books available. They listen to a story told, tell it in return, understand a story, reflect about what motivates the actions of characters, interpret a story in context, identify and assess the effects of language and the interaction between text and image, become familiar with the book as object, make link with multiple memorized stories etc.
Educational Games
Promote fine motor skills, creativity and ability to solve problems by playing with various recreational toys.
Education in the image
Tell a visual sequence, identify objects and characters of an image or a documentary. This program aims to promote the speaking of children and stimulate their visual memory.
Special Events
Cuisine, jardinage, danse, kungfu et théâtre seront parties intégrantes de nos programmes.
