OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH PARENTS

 

The bond between home and school is a strong one at Les Petits Gaulois. Believing that parents, teachers, principals and even support staff are partners in facilitating the growth and development of our children, we work hand-in-hand with one another to strongly encourage open communication. Many avenues for information dissemination, feedback and open dialogue about your child’s education are provided.

 

Each child that begins at Les Petits Gaulois will receive a login to our school internet platform for his parents and teachers to communicate with each other. It can be used to relay messages, ask questions, give feedback and make suggestions. 

 

At Les Petits Gaulois, parents are encouraged to be involved in their children’s learning adventures with us. Activities for the whole family are held throughout the year such as Carnivals, Exhibitions and Level Concerts. At the end of each week, each Toddler to K2 child will also take home a Weekly Curriculum and Event Update that has been meticulously prepared by his class teachers (French and English) to give parents an overview of what has been covered during the week, including lyrics to new songs learnt, printed pictures, drawings... Parents can then share in their child’s learning experiences and reinforce what their child has learnt. The weekly overview will also be published on a weekly basis on Les Petits Gaulois internet platform. With the login, each member of the child family or friends can see what their little lovely ones are doing at school.
